The Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) program at KLE Society commenced in 2013 under the leadership of Prof. G.S. Sheeri, who served as the Incharge Principal for both BBA and BCA courses. Initially, the program operated from KLE Society's Shri Mrityunjay College of Arts and Commerce campus in Dharwad. In August 2015, the BCA program transitioned to the RLS College campus, Dharwad, offering students access to modern, fully equipped classrooms, a comprehensive library, and advanced computer labs.
The department prides itself on having a team of highly qualified faculty members and robust hardware and software resources. Affiliated with Karnataka University and Accredited by AICTE, the program strictly adheres to the university's syllabus and curriculum under National Education Policy(NEP). Graduates are awarded degrees from Karnataka University, a credential that holds significant prestige.
